Objective - Who Do you want to connect with?

This is more of a Thinking Session!!

Before we get into the nitty gritty of connecting with too many people I need you to think who is your ideal customer?

  • What are your ideal customer’s worries and problems?
  • What are their fears? What are they trying to avoid?
  • What are their goals? What do they want to accomplish?
  • How can YOU help them to do that?

Let’s start on the road to identifying the above by firstly working on what you have to do to achieve this.

You need to identify the following:-

  • Geographical Location such as Country, Town or within a Radius of your Postcode
  • Job Title of the people you wish to connect with
  • LinkedIn Business Classification(s) - See attached (These will be useful when we talk about Advanced Search later)
  • Keyword(s) are also very useful if you want to identify something that appears in their profile e.g. Hobbies & Interests
  • Employee Size - This is only available to LinkedIn Premium members (Only consider getting LinkedIn Premium once you feel you have a better understanding of LinkedIn.) Even better still at the time of launching this course you can normally take advantage of 1 free month of LinkedIn Premium, but only if you haven't already done this.
